If you’re a really big theater buff, you may enjoy the college’s performance of that Dorothy Parker on October 26 written, and performed by Carol Lampert.
In a short synopsis of the performance, it is a memory play that puts together funny instances of the 10 years Mrs. Parker spent lunching at the Algonquin Round Table in New York. Unlike previous plays like the college’s performance of Extremities, this play is family friendly so children are welcome to attend.
The admission prices vary; General admission is $12, Faculty/Staff, Children, Senior Citizens, and Students admission all cost $11. However if you are a student, and you come with your college I.D., your ticket will be free of charge. The play will be taking place at the Ammerman Campus at Stage 119 (Shea Theater) in the Islip Arts building.
There will however be two show times, one will be at 2 P.M. and the other will be at 8 P.M. for any questions about reserved seating or anything else, you can call the college box office at 631-451-4162. Also if you are interested in any other upcoming events you can visit the college’s website. Come on down, and support the colleges theater department and enjoy the hysterical performance of Dorothy Parker.
