Community Service Day comes to Grant Campus

 by Courtney Bissonette

The multicultural affairs club at the Ammerman campus is collaborating with the campus activities board to offer a  Community Service Day on Tuesday, September 11th  from 2:45 p.m until 5 p.m in the Captree building room 113 on the Grant Campus in Brentwood.
Fantastic things are happening today. Community service day has been very well received in the past and there is no doubt this year will be any different. Volunteers will be lending a hand in one of two ways. Some will focus their time at Pronto, a food, clothing, and general needs pantry where they plan to help in anyway they can including organizing upcoming events. Others will participate at the local Preschool to volunteer working with children. This event not only helps empower the people and families in need but deeply touches every hand that helps.
In order to participate please register with Multicultural affairs or Campus Activities.
For more information please contact the office of multicultural affairs at 851-6341 or Campus Activities 851-6702
