On Thursday Nov. 17 Ammerman campus night at the movies presents the sci-fi western thriller Cowboys and Aliens. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. in the Montauk Point Room in the Babylon Student Center, the movie and popcorn are free but a donation of a non-perishable food item is suggested.

Cowboys and Aliens is the story of an amnesic outlaw, a wealthy cattle rancher and a mysterious woman banding together with the people of a western town to fight against alien abductions. The movie is adapted from the 2006 graphic novel created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg for Platinum Studios.

The movie boasts an all-star ensemble including Daniel Craig (James Bond) playing the part of the amnesic outlaw. Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones) playing the part of the wealthy cattle rancher, and Olivia Wilde (House) playing the part of the mysterious woman.

The movie is open to the whole family, but is rated PG-13 so some content may not be suitable for younger crowds.

The Ammerman campus is located on Nicolls Road, exit 62 north on the Long Island Expressway (LIE), roughly two miles north of the LIE on the right hand side. Parking is available in lots 3 and 4; the Babylon student center is located on the north end of the academic mall.
